Natural Resource Protection

While much of the federal government’s environmental regulation is carried out by specific agencies, Congress earmarks additional funds for environmental protection and development. Marlowe & Company has extensive experience working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers on natural resource protection, beach nourishment, navigation, port, and flood control projects. We have secured funding for port and inlet dredging, ecosystem restoration, and regional sediment management, as well as funding to dredge one of the most important petrochemical channels in the nation. Our experience in water resource management is not limited to the Corps. We work closely with the Bureau of Reclamation in the Department of Interior, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Environmental Protection Agency, and the National Marine Fisheries Service.
