Grant Funding

Marlowe & Company provides grant application services to our local government clients.  In addition to the work we have done for years to help meet our clients' needs through the Congressional appropriations process, we now supplement those efforts with experienced grant searching and application services.

For example, we recently implemented a grant funding strategy for a client that went beyond the typical “write the grant and hope for the best” approach.  This included:

• Reviewing the client’s prior year application;
• Working with the federal agency that administers the grant to ensure that every nuance of the grant opportunity was understood as well as preparing the agency for the grant submittal;
• Reviewing the Program Guidance for the grant program;
• Using our trained staff to write the grant;
• Securing strong support from the clients’ Congressional delegation in the form of letters of support and other backing; and
• Providing direct and targeted follow-up with the federal agency.
