
Michael Recupero is a Senior Advisor for Marlowe & Company, specializing in business development and local representation of Marlowe & Company clients in Southern California. He is the principal owner of Recupero and Associates, Inc., a governmental relations firm assisting clients in strategic planning, business development and achieving entitlement results with local governments. A former litigator and mediator, Michael serves as a liaison between industry interests, municipal governments and governmental agencies. As part of the service to its clients, the firm monitors and tracks a number of environmental and planning issues affecting the Southern California region.
Mr. Recupero currently chairs the Orange County Development Processing Review Committee, is co-chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee for the Building Industry Association of Orange County, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Building Industry Association of Southern California. He is also the past President of the Industrial Environmental Coalition of Orange County, a not-for-profit organization created to develop dialog between industrial interests and regulators.
A former adjunct professor at Hastings College of the Law, Mr. Recupero enjoys public speaking and has been retained to speak to various entities such as the City of Anaheim, the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, Lorman Educational Systems, and the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials.
Mr. Recupero is married with two children and is a graduate of Saint Mary’s College and Loyola Law School.
