Water Infrastructure

Congress annually provides funding for a targeted program to construct drinking water, wastewater and storm water infrastructure for water quality protection.  Marlowe & Company has successfully worked with local communities to secure this funding for their respective water infrastructure needs. This past year, we were successful in helping secure funding for improvements to reclaimed water storage facilities in California, Florida, and North Carolina.  The money was provided through the Department of Interior’s State and Tribal Assistance Grant Program.

Non-point source pollution continues to be a large threat to water quality impairments in the nation.  Under Section 219 of the Clean Water Act, funding is provided annually to address watersheds where non-point source pollution has impaired the quality of water.  Any additional funding is used by states to assist in the implementation of numerous programs and authorities to address all of the water quality threats caused by the pollution.
